I don't like Americans. was written at 25 Aug 07 - 21:05

Let's all give a tip of our hat to peer pressure and social conformity. Both of which brilliantly encourage our self-censorship and personal isolation through self-denial/hatred and from going outside the box to find who we really are.

I guess I'm saying how it really frustrated me how I got fired simply because someone accidentally smelled the liquor on me and got me fired from my shit-wage job at hell-mart. Up until then, there'd been no discrepancy about how I performed in my 'job' that provided neither mental stimulation nor potential opportunity for anything beyond that. At best I was to become a CSM, they're the ones that stand at the booths at the end of the endless conveyor belt rows of enslavement, not the ones behind the cash registers; though sometimes, due to poor staffing in human resources (Lol that was an inside joke, wal-mart doesn't have human resources for it's retail employees) they can be. Anyway, I guess I was going to write a tirade about how intelligent people who have to perform sub-standard jobs are treated as if they should behave such as the socially ignorant, and intelligently deprived (yes, a lot of the people I worked with, were,) do. I'm not saying it's anyone's fault the 'dummies' I worked with are at fault for their lack of opportunity for further education--or even the right to decent basic elementary education in the first place--People just need a lot more common sense. I got fired, not because my performance was below par, au contraire (sp). I was fired because some dumb-ass bimbo soccer-mom found my presence offensive. Fuck these people. I hate the vast majority of people so much, I hear about school shootings and I feel kinda good. I hear about the atrocity of corporate scandals effecting a lot of rich or upper middle-class home owners... Yeay!! Fuck you in the first place! I'm more moved by the millions that die in poverty, I mean we all know 10 poor people are accepted equal to one rich, or upper-middle class white person, regardless of IQ... but that's why I hate this country.

The other day while Adam and I were taking the bus back from the bookstore we ran into a refugee from Hungary. It was this old lady who was incredibly defensive against Adam who wanted to have a conversation about what she went through (History majors are like that), but she kept emphasizing that she lived through it whereas he had only learned about it. (While I hear what she was saying, that he/we could truely never understand what it was like... I don't know, Pick your battles. When was the last time random people had an opportunity to learn from her, most people just don't even care, or even know what she was talking about! Anyway, parenthetical excursion aside...) She said "We thought America was land of the equal, but some people are more equal than others" and I nodded my head and she began a discussion about how if I didn't like Adam, and he didn't treat me well, I should leave him, which was cute. I didn't understand why that would come up, but Adam brought up I have some kinda dramatic bruises on my arm, and she probably read into that. I bruise very easily.

Guess I'm gonna go eat some curry-rice thing he made, it smells really good. I would rather shit myself literally than work there again. However, it's incredibly difficult to find a job. This is very distressing. It's also weird living in Texas and being a minority while living in America. I'm for making legalized immigration less bureaucratic, but if I can't immigrate to the UK like I dream about, I don't like the fact that Hispanics illegally take jobs here, simply because our government economically and trade-wise fucks theirs. You can't have it both ways, Uncle Sam.
